WIth tractor cold or warmed up didnt matter. Raise the hood, on right side of tractor, above the starter and above the fuel filter, mine has a Fusible Link, kind of like what the kids use to fuse the big amplifiers in the boom boom systems in their vehicles. Check for voltage on both sides of that fuse.
