Like others said, crop sticks allow you to breed them, but then you end up with a lot of non/stackable seeds. So I don't recommend this unless you go all out and max all their stats. The best way to get seeds is making sure its on inferium land any level but higher will gain a better return & speed. The faster the growth the faster you will get seeds. So to break it down like the other comment : Make a 3x3 with farmland. Pedestal in the middle with fertiliser base. Make a farm. Make tier 5 inferium seeds (tier 6 if you have mystical aggradations addon) plant them on farmland, make a watering can out of inferium essence bars (the better the bigger range=more effectivity) and run around holding left click, and aim for the grown ones but make sure to keep watering all of them, just harves them with right click while keeping watering them.

Right now, I'm using an inferium watering can on inferium seeds placed on supremium farmland. I'm right-clicking the watering can on top of the crop and nothing's happening. If I position it on a nearby grass block, it waters. When placed inside a Cyclic Item user, it doesn't work either. That keeps the numbers low enough to do in your head and it's a lot easier to count 16 full stacks than it is to count that you have 1024 inferium.

The cloche goes where the dirt would normally go. There's a mod called "IE cloche compat" which adds this function to the cloches/Seeds but iirc the mod is broken but on the curseforge site of the mod the creator linked to another working mod. Edit: i for myself never experienced problems when using it in 1.12.2.

Seeds are crafted using an Infusion Altar and Infusion Pedestals. Placing the altar in the world will show you where to place the pedestals. You are also going to want to make some Inferium Seeds for another source of Inferium Essence. You can get more Inferium Essence per harvest from Inferium Seeds by planting them on Essence Farmland.

For the Inferium Seeds i would get the Tier 6 Seed then 10/10/10 it. If you are you looking into automation, i would look into some other reddits.
