Heres another pic of the camera completely out. I recommend clean your camera connector out with cutips the ones you use for your ear. Then apply a ton of silicone. Once you clean the connector out you can see the tab has a small gap which allows water inside . The connector right there is what needs to be sealed.It could be a good idea....
