Simply put, I have a WeBull margin account and "negative cash balance" means I borrowed money from WeBull to buy ETFs. Say, I deposited $25K cash and bought $40K ETFs (never sold anything). So, I borrowed $15K "free cash" (as WeBull puts it). I never received any email asking me to close anything or settle anything.
