Client brought in a GameFisher 15hp Mod: 225.581501 outboard Motor. Needs carb. work, figured out what carb kit to get and ready to take thefcarb. off. The problem is I can not get to it.. I have no outboard motor experience, but tons of small engine repair experience..15 HP. Old coil burnt out so its finally running again. Running a bit rich but who cares.How it works: Gamefisher ignition is the CDI type ignition consist - the charging coil -facing toward flywheel magnets, the trigger coil - combined with CDM and facing toward the shaft , the triggering magnet with ignition advance and the spark coil. The impeller fins are straight when new, but they take a "set" from being bent over in the waterpump housing over time, normal, but not good. The impeller should be replaced every 2 years, or if you don't know it's age.
