I only learned this about a week ago or so, but Crystal Countdown is actually bugged right now in how it works. I raised it at one point to 141 with books, and noticed how broken it was as it was raising my costs suddenly from what they were when I had it at 100 for a while. The Maestro skill "Crystal Countdown" will raise the percentage of a random skill upto a cap based on how high the skill is leveled per crystal mob killed. Raising that percentage will lower the max experience for x skill by 2% upto that cap. Only will ever come into play for active farming on your Maestro but it's great for skilling. The game calculates your kills, your chance of getting a crystal mob by AFK and then spawns mob/mobs after you click on the button to receive your gains. So if you afk 10 hours with 1000 kills/hour and a 1/5000 chance, you'd spawn 2 crystal mobs after logging in and getting your gains. You kill them actively and get your rewards. Tools.
