Only limited to DVD units with part # 68330446AA which is the unit I have; how unfortunate. The overhead DVD player is a standalone device that can't be controlled by the front screen. The overhead DVD player changed to Bluetooth headphones in 2019 or 2020 (not sure which), but a 2018 would definitely still use IR headphones if the overhead DVD player was installed at the factory.
