Starting of Nioh 2 I decided to main dual swords but was wondering what weapon was best to have as a secondary. In the first I really liked katana and kusarigama. Dual Swords for yokai bosses. Odachi for human bosses like Ren and Saito. The katana really does go with everything.

Level magic, constitution and courage and when you get to the DLC farm the female boss who has the switch glaive and get the ability arc of chaos. Imo SG and SS are the best weapons in the game along with fists.
For melting bigs, splitstaff (dragon dance) breaks the game. Other that the weapon kinda terrible. Not the best against humans. Dual swords seems to have best sets of active skills (water sword for dps, SotC, whirlwind) but it has the worst normal moves.
