Car barge running well, got groceries, and unloaded our stuff at the house.
Easiest and quickest is to get either a rapid antigen test or rapid diagnostic test at either Walgreens or CVS. Both are acceptable and quicker than a PCR test (and only an easy nasal swab, not a brain probe LOL). In general, February and March and early April are reliably the driest months, and the most mosquito free. Location has a lot to do with no-see-um exposure.Travel forums for St. John. The CDC still marks it as purple/moderate risk, but from what I can glean from various searches online, it seems there haven't been new cases reported since 2019 and the CDC removed their USVI Zika warning several years ago.
Save. Just visited Denis Bay- not a great path to carry much- narrow and slippery in spots with trees so you have to duck at times, but it's doable if you had to I suppose. Nice, less crowded spot and good snorkeling on the right side. Fun little island to explore right offshore- great views but slippery.

Answer 1 of 7: We will only be in St. John for a couple of days next week (Feb 10-12) and was interested in renting a jeep for one day. Most of the companies online had a 3-4 day minimum rental. USVI Travel Portal Issue. Just a FYI- I tried uploading my family's COVID test results in the USVI Travel Portal this morning using Safari. For some reason, I got through all 4 pages but when I tried to digital sign, it was defaulting to dates from earlier this week.
