I have a 2007 Prius. The other day the red triangle of death appeared along with an array of other lights on the dash. Shortly after the car acting like it was out of gas and came to a halt. Before tow came I checked codes and got p2103 which I looked up and it indicated throttle body/sensor/ECM/etc. Dealer checked it, drove it and it ran fine ...There are four (4) types of labeling for DTCs; Stored, Pending, Current and Permanent. The required conditions for DTC P0A80 were met during a drive cycle, and the red triangle illuminated. The red stuff all over everything is 100% synthetic grease to prevent corrosion. Works great. The extra red lead on the 12 volt terminal is for a towing light aux power supply.
