An evil creature using a disguise or otherwise trying to hide its presence attempts a Deception check against your Perception DC to hide its aura from you. If the creature succeeds at its Deception check, it is then temporarily immune to your Sense Evil for 1 day. There is a Remastered version here.
To preface all of this, here is the criteria for the build. Also I'm fairly new to PF2e so bear with me. My level of experience with the system is that I've completed the beginner box and not much else: - Dexterity based character, and able to be a "rogue substitute" (trap finder, etc.). - These variant rules: Free archetype, automatic bonus ...The thaumaturge is a martial and even with the level 1 ammunition feat, it's clearly going to be easier to be in melee. You don't need to do anything special to make it succeed in melee. But with fairly few defensive options outside of Amulet, their hp will deplete a bit faster than a Fighter or Ranger.Notice something off in every scenario. 2. Sorcerer Dedication. This is a mix of a spider bite and a gadget workshop, starting with two web-shooter cantrips. 4. Basic Sorcerer Spellcasting. Those cantrips are great, but Spider-Man needs some real web-power. 6. Basic Blood Potency: Widen Spell.The Chain Sword doesn't have that same accuracy discount. Flail critical spec is much better than swords. Note that Chain Sword can't be taken with an ancestry feat. Unconventional weaponry doesn't apply neither. Only Tengus can wield it as a martial weapon for now I think.

Yes, and I personally think that's okay. Thaumaturge, Investigator, Rogue, and (when built for it) Ranger all have similar abilities to identify enemy weaknesses. A potential Inquisitor would also have similar abilities. You can have multiple classes with the same end goals if both reach those goals in different ways.Thaumaturge's core ability being based on Recall Knowledge was great in theory but had serious issues (with repeated attempts, enemy rarities, groups of same creatures, etc...). I'm glad they are detaching it from the other one, though I wish they'd also make actual changes to Recall Knowledge to clarify and fix the various issues people run into.half elf human can easily get fighter or investigator archetype at level 9. very good for thaumaturge. Champion and Sentinel are almost always going to be the strongest combat-oriented archetypes for a Str Thaum. Take the Tome implement and boost it to Adept at level 7. It's more of an investment than 2 skill feats by far, but the Tome implement is arguably the most powerful one, and it's abilities synergize very well with the concept of doing RKs and EVs. You get a +1 to any RK check while holding the Tome, you get the benefits of Automatic Knowledge ...Boomerang (basically a comp. shortbow with full STR to damage). Repeating Hand Crossbow (But you have to reload after 5 shots). Air Repeater (1d4 repeating hand crossbow/simple/agile). Long Air Repeater (1d4 repeating crossbow/simple and with a good range). Chakram (just a 1D8 thrown weapon, but it has limited range).Create a huge temporal anomaly that affects enemies mental state. 6. Unexpected Transposition. Swap places with an attacker. 7. Tldr, by level 20, after spending 7 actions total, he's dishing out 10d6 fire, 9d4 mental, 3d12 electric damage to adjacent enemies each round, save for half. My concern would be that you won't be able to make enough Bombs, and you won't be able to make strong enough Bombs (although the Thaumaturge Weakness abilities will compensate for that somewhat.) At Level 2 when you get the Dedication, you will have 2 Batches of Infused Reagents.
