People seem to agree that it works in conjunction with the cat school techniques skill, which increase crit damage by 100% with levity but not sure about the stamina regen. At anyrate, that amount of adrenaline generation from ursine stats plus crit damage from cat school just makes the flat damage reduction from ursine not that appealing.
