I think the majority of people on this sub aren't much "data hoarders", but rather "data archivists/organizers". Meaning, we don't just download everything, we just like to keep our original data forever (family photos/videos, documents) and download stuff we like and keep it for later rewatch/replay (movies/shows/games).The largest drives, currently 18 & 20TB always carry a premium cost. 14TB is currently the sweet spot and 16TB may be next. Best price per TB has been ~$15/TB for years and will probably remain there for a while.
