For the fix to this, you have to install script extender (manually or via nexus/vortex) and then start the game. This will cause the script extender to update automatically to the newest version. LL's BG3 mod manager is the best one. All mods work and it's the easiest installation. Just download the newest updates to the mods. put it in the Documents/LarianStudios/Baldur's Gate 3 folder, Open the Mod Manager, and export. From what i've seen, the script extender update worked for some people. The only way i got it to work was load a pre patch 4 save, this worked with mods.
