It is the 14th group of new PLA members since 2009 when the academy was founded by alumni Edward R. and Helen S. Hintz. Board Members provide advice to the President, the Dean of Schreyer Honors College and the Director of the Academy in programming and administration of the organization, recommend curricular innovations and changes, assist securing guest speakers, advise on fund raising strategies, and provide feedback on the progress and success of the program.
