I got home about an hour ago with my new MKIII Hunter. I looked at the 5 1/2" next to the hunter and felt both. The Hunter just had a better balance to it. Got it home and cleaned it up good and I did notice one small problem - the grip on the left side is cracked from the top to about 1/2" way down.

Seriously though, the Viper is a pure combat ship and has superior hardpoint placement to the Cobra. Cobra is more of a multirole ship. It's the truth. If you can afford it, the vulture is superior to both in a purely combat role. If you can't afford it, it's worth saving up a few credits for.
