Back when I was single and lived downtown these were my fave spots: Silver Dollar Bar, Iron Horse Brew Pub, Badlander, Top Hat, Missoula Club, Oxford Cafe, Stockman's, Charlie B's & The Old Post. Zootown Arts Community Center and Freecycles have some good music shows too. Bodega and M bar are the best in my opinion.
