There is a lab under the pagoda also that has a door that you could not open. In the release now it opens with the supervisor key. Back and forth and back and forth.

IIRC, there are three batteries you need to turn on around the lab entrance area. Look for the big glowing ⚡ symbols. There is a hand scanner you have to interact with to open the door, it should be right next to it. You need to access one of the destroyed pond lab rooms to activate a hand scanner I believe.
