I've been shooting head to head with two guys in our club that have MTR's and I'm doing it with a 457 Varmint and a T1X shooting mid-grade SK Standard and RWS Rifle match while they are using high end Eley stuff. The other day my T1X shot a 2375 ARA factory target as practice.

Personally, I prefer the CZ 457 platform (with MTR barrels), as I found the fit & finish to be far better than the Tikka & Bergara I tried. Additionally, I am a fan of how easy it is to swap barrels. I also like CZ's aluminum chassis for the CZ 457 (although it is nearly impossible to find these days).
