Sep 25, 2009 · the km48 is a 160cc single rotor engine which makes 8ps. the km37 is a 108cc single rotor engine which makes 5.5ps. the easiest way to identify them is by the width of the rotor housing. the km48 has a 40mm thick rotor housing and the km37 has a 27mm thick rotor housing. here are some pics of each engine to help show the difference.

Been patiently waiting for parts to arrive from overseas, these parts arrive today from Dart motor sport in the UK. they fit the sachs 303 rotor. I notice the corner springs are a heavier gauge spring and only one spring for each corner of the rotor.
