If it doesn't have the removable recoil spring/rod keeper and has a 'frankenbolt' extractor/firing pin retainer screw, then it is second generation. T.Most can be fixed with a heavy brass bolt and if you want to get serious, the SUMO charging handle (Twisted Industries makes it).
