I have the same problem. I downloaded 3 recordings to my IPad and watched them. Later I went to return them and they were gone from my Ipad. Went on my Comcast box and the programs still show up. When I try to delete them I get the same message that the recordings are on an unnamed device and must be returned before I can delete them.Delete a recorded program. We do want a DVR with a hard drive, and I find that I am not the only one confused by the local and cloud DVR issue. From what I have read, we should be able to record 6 programs at once and watch them on any of our TVs that has a box. I will have to call CS, but I dread that, as it can be extremely frustrating.
