When I drove through CT wih a 536HP in my truck there were often dead spots. No dead spots with the SDS200.Using ID Search on CLMRN FL, I see a hit on a new TGID "i1991013". Channel Description is "i1991013 (SRC) i1999001 (DST). I've looked at the unknown TGID page in the Wiki, and reviewed the latest database. Stumped by this. Any thoughts from the resident gurus? Not seeing anyone but Plainfield using 109xxxx on CLMRN. The best thing to do is go to Broadcastify CALLS and see if the audio/RID/times match up with Plainfield PD. I would agree that the 198xxxx radios are likely Central CT State Univ. I would guess that they may be running the same IDs on their 858.7375 channel. Hi thom, I have a BCD996P2 scanner which I have been unable to get to work on CSERN but worked on CSP 800MHz for 10 years flawlessly, and they are still selling all the OLDER Phase 2 type scanners. Tried every option in the book, and them some, with little luck. Can get it to pick a channel then no audio, drops channel and goes back to control channel.

However if you are trying to be alerted for Clinton FD, they are dispatched by Middlesex County. Middlesex has a talk group on the CLMRN Phase II system. Check to see if dispatches and tones go over their talkgroup.The BCD996P2 has a GPS function that makes this easier. However, the BCD536HP allows you to set your location by inputting your zip code or GPS coordinates. The BCD536HP has a slight edge due to the auto-locate feature.
