Kia fob not working.

Feb 16, 2011 · I have a Kia Sorrento 2006, the fob does not work, nor can I open the doors with the key. I am essentially locked out of my vehicle, cannot even open back hatch. When I got into car the other day after work, my directional were on but wouldn't work for turn signal. The lights went off after a time and the directional worked for turn signal. The most common cause of key fob not working in Kia Rio is dead battery. But the remote key can also stop working due to worn buttons, poor battery contact, water damage, defective key fob, receiver module issues, signal interference, dead 12 volt battery, and unpaired key requiring reprogramming. 1.
