I'm picking up the new modular CGS 9mm can when it drops (mostly to run in short configuration) and it'll be dedicated to this Staccato. rangerhi • 7 mo. ago. Don't ever drop the slide on an empty chamber in any 1911 or 2011. It will wreck the trigger job and possibly some of the internals. Also, don't let the hammer drop with the slide off while cleaning. Make sure and ride it forward by hand, so you don't accidentally pull the trigger while cleaning.
