Currently, from what they said, no physics engine can handle the synchronisation required, without all the physics only being on the one machine. So presently, Steam Remote Play is the only way, until there's a reasonable, networkable physics engine. After update steam achievements are disabled. After the last update my save says "Steam achievments are disanbled for this save. Creative mode gas been enabled or mods have been installed." I haven't used creative on this save. Even if I started a new game it says the same thing. Sounds like you might still have mods in your files.
