The first thing I did was scrub the grime off the side of the carb body and locate the serial number. Stamped into the side of the carb were these numbers: 17057504 0667 AYO. A quick Internet search revealed that we had a Rochester 4-barrel carburetor with a manual choke that met California emissions standards.The other adjustment you will make with a simple vacuum gauge.You should probally check distributor points,and timing as well.
