I noticed it making a weird noise (as if not getting proper airflow) while using it and realized the filter needed to be cleaned. I have throughly cleaned the filter and mesh, but now every time I turn on the dryer I get three white flashing lights and it powers off.

The fix for this is a $111 main body. It is apparently an electronic failure that happens more than Dyson would like to admit. They charge for the main body when your issue is outside of warranty. The most common cause of that is the filter, and you can read more about machine maintenance here . However, a brand-new dryer should not be performing in this manner.In the app, in settings (“Your machine’s settings”) the “Continuous monitoring” setting is ticked on (the little circle is on the right and has a dark violet colour).
