Vtm 4 light.

My VTM-4 light started going on after I replaced my EGR valve. It has remained off since I replaced that new EGR valve with ANOTHER new one. My curiosity about the VTM-4 light preventing not only the engagement of the differential lock but also all 4WD activity to the rear wheels resulted from troubleshooting that situation.VTM-4 light and Engine Light On. my 2006 has 114K miles. Driving home yesterday (on a dry, four lane highway) when suddenly the VTM-4 light came on, as well as the check engine light. I was driving about 55-60 mph.
