I did a random dummy booking on Expedia and you can pick up in Kalispell and drop in Calgary for a VERY hefty fee. But you can't pick up in Calgary and drop in MT. We are renting a 25-feet RV and plan to visit Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton NPs. We would love to do the GTTS road but we are aware it is not possible with our RV.

There really isn't a "safe area" where bears aren't found within glacier at least, all of it is bear country.
