I looked on Ohlins website and the ones without the remote reservoir can be had for $950. I'm just looking for a more comfortable ride when two up touring on my 19 Ultra Limited. My preference is based totally on looks and with that I rank Pro-Action #1, Ohlins #2 and Legends #3. I like the finish of the Pro-Action shocks and they look more robust than the other two brands. I only rank Ohlins #2 because of the external reservoir. I run Ohlins HD357, which is the predecessor to the Ohlins HD044, on My 2012 Custom, for many years, and the ride can't be beaten, in My opinion.
