4. Reaction score. 1. Jan 1, 2020. #2. I'm LECOM class of 2025 and I talked to a 4th year LDP. I asked him a similar question on here (private messaging) and he has not gotten back to me yet. He did tell me though that the first 13 weeks are anatomy, embryo and OPP.Med term was a self-paced online course with weekly quizzes. All classes (with the exception of Med Term which is quiz based) are exam based and curved fairly. However, do not depend on a curve, as only the low performing questions are tossed. Exams are proctored and averages range around 80-83 after any curve.

I know quite a few LECOM grads, several of whom entered competitive specialties, including surgical subspecialties. I, personally, want primary care, and LECOM has given me a way to get through medical school and into a family med residency in just 3 years--one year faster that I could have done anywhere else.

I think the idea is that the earlier you send it, the earlier you are complete and can get an interview. Earlier interviews may have a better chance of acceptance. With time, the amount of seats available diminishes. So getting your application in early gives you a better chance. Do the best you can to submit it as soon as possible!
