KFX 450 running really hot. I have a 2008 Kawasaki KFX 450r. It is all stock except for a lexx slip-on exhaust. It is running hot to the point my exhaust head pipe is glowing red up to the bend and at some points all the way around the bend. A couple days later the temp warmed up and it started fine. Ran it for the day. Next day the temp dropped down to the 50's and it wouldn't take again. replaced the plug again. Still nothing. The needle seat has a small screen and it was plugged only letting a small amout of fuel into the bowl. Most of the jets were clear but I still used music wire and air to clear any blockages.
