I am debating whether something like 75gr TAP T2/77gr TMK would be better than bonded soft points such as Speer 64gr Gold Dot or XM556SBCT3 in a home defense scenario. From what I've heard, OTM is better against soft targets, but bonded soft points offer far superior wounding capabilities when barriers are introduced (furniture, drywall etc.).

Topped with a bushnell lrhs 3-12. 5 antelope and one mule deer. First kill was 275 yards quartering away on an meat antelope. 2 inch exit out the chest. Ran 30 yards. Bullet travelled 14" or so.
